Event first aid cover
St John
Ambulance is keen to provide first aid and ambulance aid for
all events, no matter how large or small, come rain or
shine.
We provide cover for a wide range of events from carnivals,
music festivals, motor sports, marathons and point to points
to fetes, fairs, pantomimes, shows and fun runs.
St John Ambulance were spot on and couldnt of done it any better. We are all very appreciative of what everyone has done to help dad get off the track safe. He's very lucky and will hopefully be racing soon . Once again thanks everyone that helped out!

Wellington has a fleet of three ambulances which we use for
emergency response, treatment and transport as well as minor
treatment.
We also have a gazebo which we can use as a patient
treatment area at smaller duties where an ambulance wouldn't be
appropriate.
We often work with other St John
units to cover larger events an example of this is carnivals,
which often require in excess of 10 accident
and emergency ambulances as well as first aid units,
rapid response and support units, which Somerset St John Ambulance
provides and crews.
Somerset St John Ambulance are about
to start a new cycle response team. The cycle responders will allow
us to get full resuscitation equipment (including defibrillators)
as well as trained members to an emergency that an ambulance
cannot rapidly access. 
These units
can be deployed in areas where there are large crowds and
narrow lanes/paths that an ambulance can't easily access in an
emergency. The cycle response teams will have all the
equipment and skills needed to treat casualties until
ambulance crews can assist.
