How your money helps

As a registered charity, St John Ambulance Staffordshire relies on donations to help fund our vital life saving work through our 100,000 plus vulunteers. Your support helps us save lives and make a difference in every community in Staffordshire as well as the county.

We spend your donations where they are needed most. However, the list below gives an indication of the kinds of things we might need to buy to continue our charitable work.


£40 Could help pay for an hour of advanced first aid training for one of our life saving volunteers. Students at training course
£50 Could equip one of our volunteers with a first aid response kit. Responder kit
£60 Could pay for a Young first aider pack; an interactive training tool for young people, aged seven to 16 in schools and youth organisations. Young first aider pack
£80 Could help towards keeping an ambulance on the road to help people in need Helping people
£120 Could help us buy a Little Annie, or a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training model, which are crucial for our training. Annies
£2,500 Could pay for a 'Heartstart' AED machine which is vital to the resuscitation process following a heart attack. AED kit
£57,000 Could buy and equip an ambulance used by St John Ambulance at many events and duties around the county. Ambulance
