Lunch celebrates very special wedding days

 

Tickets for a special fundraising lunch to celebrate the forthcoming Royal wedding are now on sale. 

Supporters of St John Ambulance will be coming together on Thursday 24 March 2011 at the Moat House Hotel, Acton Trussell, Stafford to celebrate the Royal wedding and share memories of supporter's very own special wedding days.

'At our forthcoming lunch guests will be welcomed at a drinks reception and the "ceremony" begins with a glorious celebration of the wedding dress. In a fashion show with a difference, the much loved and cherished dresses of our own members, family and friends will tell their special stories,' said Amanda Danells-Smith fundraiser and PR officer for St John Ambulance Staffordshire.

After lunch guest speaker and wedding planner Julie Dawson, will speak of the highs and lows of organising large events like the Royal Wedding. Through her business The Wedding Genie, Dawson has helped many couples plan and enjoy their nuptials. 

The money raised at this event will go towards ensuring more people learn vital first aid and life saving skills.
