Young first aider
The Young first aider course is extremely
flexible and provides, teachers, volunteers and youth
leaders the chance to teach first aid to children between the
ages of 7-16.
The scheme has been specifically designed to
be taught to schools and youth groups accross England.
The teaching guides we can provide supplies
all the information required to direct pupils through the course
which covers the following topics:
- Primary Survey
- Recovery Position
- Choking
- Asthma
- Wounds, Bleeding & Shock

- Fractures
- Burns & Scalds
- Poisoning
- Heart Attacks
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

By teaching the Young first aider you are
providing critical lifesaving skills to children and young adults.
These skills, combined with learning to work in a team, decision
making, as well as personal and social responsibility, all
ultimately increase confidence and general citizenship.
