Fundraising in 2012

Here at St John Ambulance in the West Midlands, we are always looking for new ways to raise funds, and will be continuing to do so in 2012.

By Any Means

From January to March we will be running a By Any Means challenge, aiming to cover 2342 miles in order to raise funds for the St John Eye Hospital.

The Eye Hospital, which is based in Jerusalem, is the sole provider of crucial eye care in the Occupied Palestine Territory, and every year the West Midlands county of St John Ambulance sponsor staff nurse Malik at the hospital so that he can continue his vital work.

We're encouraging people to think of creative ways to rack up the miles and raise funds at the same time. The aim is to cover 2342 miles - the distance between Birmingham and Jerusalem.

More information will be revealed in January, so remember to check back then, or follow us on Twitter @SJAWMids

You can make a donation to this cause by visiting our justgiving page, alternatively text 'SJAEH82 £2' to 70070 to make a £2 donation.
