Volunteers refurbish cottage kitchen
The kitchen at Pen-y-garreg, the residential centre owned by St John Ambulance West Midlands, has received a brand new kitchen, thanks to a grant from the Westbury Fund, and the hard work of nine volunteers.

March saw the annual St Patrick’s Parade through Digbeth, Birmingham and 30 St John Ambulance volunteers were there to provide first aid to the 100,000 strong crowd.
Kinda meets the Queen
Last year's County Cadet of the Year, Kinda, was chosen as a deputy national Cadet of the year. As part of her responsibilities to represent the organisation, she was invited to Windsor Palace to deliver a birthday card to Her Majesty the Queen.
