West Midlands school has first aid success
Colley Lane primary
school in Dudley has had yet another succesful year at the
National Schools First Aid competition.
The team of Isabel Alderton, Chloe
Weaver, Charlotte Baker, Rebekah Westwood came third
overall for the third year in a row, in the competition
which took place at the National History Museum.
Leah Swindells also won the best reserve
competition, which involved doing four minutes of various
first aid situations by herself.
The school had fought off competition from
countless schools across the country to make it into the
final which consisted of 11 schools, so finishing
third was a great achievement.
Schools Mark
The school was also awarded with a Schools Mark
- an award that shows a schools commitment to looking after the
health and safety of it's pupils and staff.
