West Midlands get resilient
The Birmingham public are invited to be
the difference between a life lost and a life saved this September
with free St John Ambulance first aid awareness sessions taking
place in the heart of the city.
Teaming up
Birmingham City Council's Resilience Team, in partnership with
St John Ambulance, are holding a series of first aid awareness
sessions for Birmingham residents, businesses and community groups
to attend.
The special hour-long free sessions are being
held in two city centre locations and members of the public
are invited to drop in and learn some basic skills that could make
the difference between life and death.
A training team from St John Ambulance will be
going through the five ways to make a difference,
including:
- The recovery position
- Basic resuscitation
- Dealing with severe bleeding.
As many people as possible are welcome at these free sessions that will help to build a resilient Birmingham. By learning some basic first aid skills you too could be the difference between life and death.
