Patient Transport Service

St John Ambulance West Midlands unit is part of a national team which collectively has more than 1,000 ambulance and support vehicles, providing support services to the NHS and private organisations across the country.

Our transport service is staffed by qualified personnel who operate in modern, fully equipped vehicles seven days a week.

We handle all types of patient transfer including:

• Bespoke patient transfer contracts for the public and private sectors
• Admissions and discharges from hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and private residences
• Paediatric and neonatal retrieval services
• Bariatric transport services
• Outpatients visits to medical facilities
• Repatriation of patients arriving by air, sea or rail to their homes or to hospital
• Walking patients, those in wheelchairs, or specialist transfers by stretchers or incubators can all be accommodated.

In the West Midlands we have been providing patient transport services for more than ten years and pride ourselves on offering a first class, professional and friendly service at all times.

We are able to respond to one-off, short notice requests or undertake long-term contracts with full service level agreements.

Our crews operate primarily within the West Midlands, Herefordshire and Worcestershire but can collect or deliver patients throughout the UK and Europe.
