Facilities at Pen-y-garreg
Accommodation
The main bedrooms are situated on the first
floor.
Pen-y-garreg can sleep up to 23 people in five different rooms,
making the accommodation ideal, since it can meet the needs
of most groups. The main accommodation level is shown here. A
further ground floor bedroom, ideal for leaders, sleeps two
people.
Kitchen
The
kitchen is located on the ground floor, and was refurbished during
2008.
The kitchen is provided with enough crockery to service a full
group, as well as enough basic cooking utensils, pots and pans to
cook for them.
The kitchen also features: a commercial-sized oven with a
six-ring hob, powered by bottled propane (included in the cost);
two domestic-size fridges; a domestic-sized freezer; an
electric water boiler.
Living rooms
There are two living rooms located on the ground floor.
The thematic dining room and lounge provide room for both
leisure and structured activities during your stay, should you not
wish to go outside!
Toilets and washing
The
toilet facilities are located in the adjoining toilet
blocks.
There are two flush toilets and a heated shower in both the
ladies' and the gentlemen's toilet blocks.
