First aid including advice and training
Our training experts have a wide range of
experience in developing and teaching first aid and health and
safety courses. They are well placed to speak about how to use
first aid in different situations and why it is an important skill
to have. They can also talk about what St John Ambulance is doing
to increase the number of schoolchildren learning first aid.

Meng Aw-Yong
Meng has a background in emergency medicine, and has worked as
the club medic at various sports clubs; he has a full understanding
of the benefits of first aid in emergency situations. At St John
Ambulance he advises on new medical research and how it impacts on
our first aid advice.
Richard Evens
Richard is responsible for much of the commercial side of the
organisation and can speak about how we are first in first aid, the
impact of the HSE changes on first aid at work and our Supplies
business.
