Asthma resources and lesson plans

This module aims to help students identify and deal with an asthma attack. The first aid lesson examines the range of possible asthma attack symptoms to look out for.

Lesson overview – asthma attacks

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to recognise an asthma attack and know how to respond appropriately. They will learn how to reassure the casualty and help them use their inhaler.

The lesson plan includes suggested activities to help students learn about asthma and what to do in the event of an asthma attack.
