Brighton Marathon 2012
St John Ambulance has a limited number of guaranteed places in
the 2012 Brighton Marathon.

- Minimum Sponsorship: £450
After just two years, the Brighton Marathon has leapt into the
top 12 running events across the UK. With 18,000 entries, it is
going to be an amazing event and something not to be missed. Why
not get involved and try something different in the Olympic
year!!
The course for this race starts in Preston Park and winds itself
round the sites of Brighton, taking in the best of the City Centre
and fabulous stretches of coastal road, including
panoramic views that you’d expect where the glorious South Downs
meet the English Channel.
The course is great for both beginners and the more
experienced runner with a mixture of both flat land and
hills.

All we ask from you in return for a place is £35 registration
fee and £450 minimum sponsorship.
Own place runner
If you are luckily enough to receive a place in the marathon
ballot, we would love to welcome you to our team.
We will be grateful for any funds you can raise for us – we
don’t ask for a minimum sponsorship or a registration
fee. You will receive the same support throughout your
training, fundraising and race as a charity place runner.
