Choose from two different routes to conquer this awesome African mountain. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa standing at 5896m.

You will pass through various terrain on your way to the summit and feel truly challenged. There is also the opportunity of extending your trip by incorporating a community project or safari.

Sample itinerary

  • Day one: Fly from London to Kilimanjaro International airport
  • Day two: Arrive Kilimanjaro and transfer to Moshi town
  • Day three: Trek through dense jungle to Machame camp, 3100m
  • Day four: Through forest to Shira Plateau and on to camp at Shira caves, 3840m
  • Day five: Trek high moorland (4800m) via Lava Tower to Barranco Hut (3900m)
  • Day six: Into Great Barranco ravine; trek via Karanga valley over scree to camp (4600m)
  • Day seven: Steep trek to summit glaciers, including Uhuru Peak (5896m); begin descent
  • Day eight: Descend through rainforest and finish in Moshi for a large celebration
  • Day nine: Free time in Moshi, chance to visit local community project and flight departs
  • Day ten: Arrive in the UK.
