Employee fundraising
You could help to raise vital funds for St John Ambulance by
getting involved with one of our employee fundraising events.
Our employee fundraising challenges are designed to test
practical ability, leadership and team working
skills in a fun and competitive atmosphere. The benefits
of getting involved include the encouragement of team building,
acquiring new skills and encouraging staff motivation.
Firewalking
Dare to walk barefoot across 20 feet of burning coals? The
essential training beforehand is fun and inspirational, not only
enabling people to walk across coals burning at 1200
degrees fahrenheit, but also equipping people with
valuable motivational tools for life.
Dragon boat racing
A Dragon Boat event is an exciting way of motivating and
integrating staff from all areas of your company. As
Britain's fastest growing corporate activity, dragon boating gets
everyone working together quickly, caters for all abilities and
requires no previous experience.
Parachute jumping
Parachute jumping is one of our most popular fundraising events.
Organised by the events company Skyline, tandem parachute jumping
is available to anyone age 16–96! You could also
go solo and take a static line jump from 3,000 feet.
Whitewater rafting
Whitewater rafting is a truly thrilling adventure sport and you
can take part, even if you haven't got any previous experience. In
a team of 6 – 8 people, you'll learn how to steer the raft, choose
the best course down the river and run the rapids – just like the
professionals!
Flora London marathon 2007
For 25 years St John Ambulance has kept the marathon
running.
Please help us to keep on running and join the 2007 St
John team.
