Face-to-face fundraising brings us closer to the day when
everyone who needs it, receives first aid from those around
As a charity, face-to-face fundraising is very important to us,
because regular donations mean we can plan for the future.
We currently have two different fundraising agencies
working on behalf of St John Ambulance, they do an amazing job
raising funds so we can continue to deliver our services, making a
huge difference to many lives in the UK.
All fundraisers who represent St John Ambulance are highly
trained and follow best practice guidance and industry standards,
imposed by the Institute of Fundraising (IOF) and the
Door-to-door fundraisers are fundraisers wearing St John
Ambulance t-shirts and badges (with coats and body warmers in the
winter), who visit households in England and Wales. They go from
door-to-door, talking to people about our work and asking them to
consider supporting us by giving a monthly, quarterly, or annual
donation by direct debit.
In England alone, we have over 150,000 supporters who began

Private site fundraising
We also have fundraisers in private sites across the UK, such as
shopping centres, supermarkets, shop foyers and occasionally
directly outside of permitted shops.
Personal Fundraising Services (PFS) are our new private site
fundraising agency, they are highly respected in the face-to-face
industry. PFS request permission directly from the building/land
owners to fundraise on our behalf.
