First aid for young people
St John Ambulance is committed to training young
people in first aid.
As well as providing the ability to be the
difference between life and death, first aid training at a
young age helps to build confidence and
self esteem as well as teamwork and communication
skills.
We welcome young people from the age of 12 onto
all our courses for the general public. Those under the age
of 16 must attend with a responsible
adult (one family member or guardian per two young
people).
Choose from one of our first aid courses
for the general public.
St John Ambulance also has opportunities for young people to get
involved in our youth programmes. If you’re aged five to 10, you
can join Badgers; 10 to 16-year-olds can
become Cadets; and if you’re in higher
education, you can join LINKS.
