Community projects
Volunteer for our community programmes and you could help a
person who is in need of support. You could befriend an elderly
person or provide someone with company for a few hours each
week.
In addition to the first aid activities and services that we
undertake, we also run a range of community programmes, which focus
on health and social care in the community.
These programmes only run in selected local areas, as specified
below:
- Library service (Avon, Cornwall,
Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Guernsey, Humberside,
Leicestershire and Rutland, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Northumbria,
Somerset, Wiltshire)
- Carers support programme (Dorset,
Somerset, Jersey and the Isle of Wight)
- Day care centres (Northumbria)
- EngAge befriending scheme
