Young carers programme
Our young carers programme runs in West Cheshire and Vale Royal.
It provides support and opportunities to address the physical,
emotional and developmental needs of young carers.
The programme delivers fun, respite activity sessions on a
weekly basis and the opportunity of residential trips in the UK and
abroad.
What does it involve?
Commitment
You can give as little or as much time as you wish, give a few
spare hours here or there or commit to a couple of hours each
week.
Role
Get involved with activity sessions, residential trips,
mentoring and one to one work with the young carers.
Training
We train all St John Ambulance volunteers, you will first
receive full training and support in the skills needed to carry out
your role.
Locations
The young carers programme runs in the following locations:
- West Cheshire
- Vale Royal.
