You are here:

Community Champion

Make a difference in your community by encouraging others to learn life saving skills

Becoming a Community Champion is a great way to begin your involvement with St John Ambulance.

You’ll support us by promoting first aid skills within your community and encouraging others to become Community Champions too.

You’ll help others to become confident using first aid, ready when they need it most.

What's involved

All you need to do is register with us so we can give you regular bulletins of information throughout the year, and pledge to do some community actions. These could be:

  • • locating and informing others of your local community defibrillator
  • • putting first aid posters in your local library, café or workplace
  • • downloading our first aid app and encouraging others to do the same.

You will also have the opportunity to attend different talks and workshops furthering your knowledge.

As an associate of St John Ambulance, you would not be required to wear the full uniform or take a DBS check.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in your community, meet new people, and wear the St John Ambulance badge with pride.
