First aid trainer

I want to put my skills to good use and teach other people how to be a lifesaver. It makes my day when someone says thank you, I feel like I have taught them something valuable.

We train over half a million people in first aid every year and volunteer trainers play a vital role in achieving this.

What does it involve?

Commitment Our community first aid courses vary in length from two hours to several days. We would normally ask you to commit to teaching the whole course.

Role

Conducting first aid training courses for the local community as a whole, as well as for new volunteers within St John Ambulance.

Training

You don't need any previous first aid experience, as our training will equip you with all the skills you need for the role.
