One of the first things you will do as a new volunteer for St
John Ambulance is complete a basic first aid training session,
equipping you with the skills that can be the difference between a
life lost and a life saved. This is a short, straightforward short

On-going training and development
We will continue to provide you with on-going training and
support. There are many opportunities to progress and develop
within your role as a volunteer, including trainer and assessor
roles, management opportunities, and more. Your line manager can
help you to identify your strengths as a volunteer, and where there
might be opportunities for progression.
