General Volunteer (Brighton Homeless Service)

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are seeking general volunteers with availability on Monday and Thursday mornings.

General volunteers provide general advice and a listening ear to homeless people at our Outreach clinics in Brighton.

There is a commitment to attending initial training, monthly evening training sessions and role revalidations. Initial training includes: Homelessness Awareness; Communication Skills; Professional Boundaries; (22nd April) Equality & Diversity; Managing Aggressive and Difficult Situations (29th April)

First Aid (6th + 13th May)
