Regional Emergency Operations Lead

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are seeking a Regional Emergency Operations Lead for the South West Region.  The successful candidate can be based anywhere in this area.

During periods of severe weather and at times of major disasters, St John Ambulance (SJA) implements its Emergency Operations plans to provide transport, first aid and care skills for NHS Trusts, Local Resilience Forums and to communities directly. You will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and maintenance of the Region’s Emergency Operations plans and responses and the Business Continuity Management and organisational recovery in accordance with SJA policy.  Additionally you will manage the District Emergency Operations Officers.  

Closing date: Monday 3 April 2017.   Interviews will be held on Thursday 6 April in Bridgwater from 6pm
