Hospital Library Service Volunteer
No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.
As a volunteer member of The St. John Ambulance Hospital and Library Service you will provide a voluntary support service to patients in Hospitals throughout Norfolk by issuing them with books and other material provided as a part of a partnership arrangement with the Norfolk County Library and Information Service and the Hospital involved. It is recognised that reading and volunteer contact and support of this nature provides clear psychological benefits to patients in what for them can be a stressful.
