Adventure Support Officer

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

St John Ambulance provides opportunities for young people to develop their skills, knowledge and abilities through undertaking a range of adventure activities through our youth programme.

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Adventure Support Officer in the West region.  PLEASE NOTE THESE POSITIONS CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE WEST REGION.

The Regional Adventure Support Officer will promote and engage with young people and their leaders in order to facilitate adventure activities. The main emphasis will be on camping and residential events.

The post holder will be responsible for undertaking event inspections and monitoring standards to ensure consistency in quality and safety as laid out in the relevant St John Ambulance policies and procedures.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Carolyn Bowers. carolyn.bowers@sja.org.uk

Closing date: 20 February 2018.       Interviews will be held on 3 March 2018
