First Aider

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

As a first aid volunteer you will be trained to a high standard to provide first aid treatment to patients at events covered by St John Ambulance in the community, at concerts, sports events etc. at local, regional and national level.

No previous training is required – it will all be provided – we just look for a desire to help people and the readiness to deal with situations that can be distressing. 

This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations Offenders Act.

The closing date for this post is Wednesday 20th June 2018 

The selection event will take place on Monday 25th June, 7pm until 9:30pm 

The welcome event will take place on Saturday 30th June, 2018 10am until 4pm 

The first aid courses will take place on: Saturday 7th July 2018, Sunday 8th July 2018, Saturday 14th July 2018 and Sunday 15th July 2018 9am until 5pm each day. 

Please note interviews will take place in the location of Basingstoke.
