No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.
We are looking for a volunteer Cycle Responder, in the West Midlands - North District.
As a Cycle Responder, you will be responsible for providing first aid to the public at events (large, small, commercial and community). You will need to be kind, caring and conscientious whilst maintaining best practice treatment at all times. This role will require someone who is confident at cycling.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have completed training as an event Advanced First Aider for St John Ambulance or equivalent training with a recognised clinical or first aid organisation.
This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations Offenders Act.
For more information please contact the Regional Cycle Response Officer, Julie.Sadler@sja.org.uk.
The closing date for this post is Tuesday 26th June 2018.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 3rd July 2018.
