Volunteering Opportunties in thhe North Region, Bromborough

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

As a first aid volunteer you will be trained to a high standard to provide first aid treatment to patients at events covered by St John Ambulance in the community, at concerts, sports events etc. at local, regional and national level.

No previous training is required – it will all be provided – we just look for a desire to help people and the readiness to deal with situations that can be distressing. 

This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations Offenders Act.

We are looking to run a volunteering selection session on: will be held on Monday 6th August (19:00-22:00)

The welcome event will be held on Saturday 8th September (10:00-16:00)

If you are successful you will need to undertake induction and training for role and be available on all the dates listed below. If you are not available for all the dates, please do not apply during this round of recruitment Induction Event.

First aider training dates will be Saturday 20th October, Sunday 21st October, Saturday 3rd November and Sunday 4th November (all 09:00-17:00) 

All the above events will take place at SJA Liverpool HQ, 2 Edgar Street, Liverpool, L3 6JU and all dates must be attended to become an operational volunteer.
