Regional MRT Lead

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

Nothing could be more true of the role of the Regional Medical Response Team Lead which will lead a team to deliver that vision in the very heart of some of the 8,000 events we cover each year. You will oversee the implementation of a Regional Medical Response Team model throughout the whole region, ensuring high standards in selection, training and operational deployments are maintained. You will contribute towards the development of this new function on a national agenda, working with counterparts and the National Lead volunteer.

You'll have a strong sense of leadership and management about you, be capable of breaking down barriers and bringing people along with you in accepting a new concept. You'll have a good attention to detail, be meticulous in your approach and planning, be organised and methodical and above all, have a drive to ensure that we meet our vision a a part of the wider team. You will be expected to be a visible presence across the Region and not afraid of getting involved to maintain your own clinical practice, but with the astute ability to step back to be a manager when the time is right.
