We are growing our amazing #TeamEastLondon in the following boroughs and need people who can commit to volunteering in our community. Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Enfield, Haringey, Havering, Camden, Islington, City of London, Tower Hamlets, Barking, Dagenham, Newham If you do not live in these areas this vacancy is not suitable for you, even if it's your closest open vacancy.

We are seeking Event Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics to respond and manage emergency calls/incidents at events which may include venues such as stadia, concert halls, motorsports tracks, road races etc. Event doctors shall provide specialist, clinical, social and holistic care while undertaking clinical assessment and interventions in the pre-hospital environment.

Successful Event Doctor candidates will be registered registered medical practitioners with the GMC, without cautions or restrictions, and hold a licence to practice outside of an approved practice setting.

Successful Event Paramedic candidates will be registered Paramedics with the HCPC and be able to provide evidence of CPD activity within the previous 12 months.

Successful Event Nurse candidates will be registered nurses with the NMC and be able to provide evidence of CPD activity within the previous 12 months.

If you are shortlisted, you MUST be available for one of two evening selection sessions, from 6pm on Thursday 17th or Tuesday 22nd January 2019, in Central London. Regrettably, no other interview times will be available.

If you are successful, you will need to attend a welcome session: Sunday 27th January, 10am to 3pm near Archway underground station. If you do not already hold an ILS or ALS certificate, you may need to complete further clinical training with St John.

If you agree with a St John lead clinician that a First Aid course would be appropriate for you, this will be on Saturdays in February (2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd) 2019, 9am to 5pm, in Walthamstow.
