District Health and Safety Officer

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are looking to expand our volunteer Health & Safety team across the Country to support our existing officers and advisers. As a volunteer District Health and Safety Officer, you will ensure that the region’s activities are conducted safely and in compliance with St John Ambulance policies. The role involves advising on safety-related issues, investigating accidents, carrying out risk assessments on events and buildings and identifying ways in which risk can be reduced.

The time commitment is flexible and you can fit this volunteering role around you. Training and support for this role will be provided.

We are looking for health and safety officers in the following locations: Hertforshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire
