Stadium First Aider (Turf Moor, Burnley)
Could you keep sporting crowds safe?
As a First Aider at stadiums, it’s your role to help look after large and small groups of people at football and rugby matches.
You’ll be part of a team that delivers first aid, and whether it’s giving out a plaster for a foot blister, or more serious emergencies, you’ll be a life saver.
You’ll get to shadow experienced first aiders and learn and use the skills you’ll need to look after crowds. You’ll have the chance to take on more advanced roles, including Operational First Aider, Cycle Responder and Emergency Ambulance crew.
This is the chance to learn new skills, and enhance skills you might possess already, like your First Aid at Work qualification, which you already hold.
You’ll make a real difference to your community, and to have a huge impact on the nation’s health.
As a First Aider at stadiums, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time.
You will need an appropriate HSE First Aid at Work qualification and also to live within reasonable travelling distance of the stadium.
