No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.
As a first aid volunteer you will be trained to a high standard to provide first aid treatment to patients at events covered by St John Ambulance in the community, at concerts, sports events etc. at local, regional and national level.
No previous training is required – it will all be provided – we just look for a desire to help people and the readiness to deal with situations that can be distressing.
We are looking for people in the following areas: Milton Keynes Leighton Linslade Wendover Aylesbury Thame High Wycombe Beaconsfield Kidlington Oxford Buckingham Maidenhead Reading Theale Henley Bicester
This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations Offenders Act.

St John Ambulance will be running a Selection Day for this role on Sunday 27th January at the St John Ambulance Training Centre, Tindal Road, Aylesbury, HP20 1HR. This will be an all day event. Please wear suitable casual and comfortable clothing as you will need to undertake a fitness for role test. Lunch is not provided. If successful, applicants will be required to attend all of the following dates in Aylesbury:
• Welcome Event - 3rd February 2019 - 9am – 4pm
• Training Day 1 - 10th February 2019 - 9am – 5pm
• Training Day 2 - 17th February 2019 - 9am – 5pm
• Training Day 3 - 2nd March 2019 - 9am – 5pm
• Training Day 4 - 3rd March 2019 - 9am – 5pm
