Unit Event Services Lead

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to organise first aid event. The role holder will liaise with external event organisers and co-ordinate the resourcing and deployment of volunteers.  In addition, the successful candidate will co-ordinate unit participation for emergency response. 

Good communication and computer skills are essential for this role and the candidate should be trained as an event first aider or have previous experience.  

Hitchin and Stevenage Event Services Unit meets on a Thursday evening at 1930. The successful candidate will be expected to attend unit meetings, and any additional hours necessary to carry out the role.
