Unit Badger Lead

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance (SJA) teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

As a youth leader you will deliver development opportunities on behalf of SJA through one of our programmes for young people (Badgers, Cadets, Peer Education, Youth First Aid or RISE). This will involve supporting young people alongside other youth leaders, youth support leaders and others. You will also take on responsibility for leading your youth section (either Cadets or Badgers) under a Unit Manager's direction.

You will be required to attend the unit each week in school term on a Friday evening as the Badger who is responsible for our young people from the ages of 7 to 11 years of age, all our volunteers get support from other members of the youth team
