Community Bathing Service Volunteer

 

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act. Community Bathing Service Volunteer s maintain their own training qualifications and attend further training courses as required. Work to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all personnel and service users. Maintain own training qualifications and attend further training courses as required. Ensure equipment is ready for immediate use always and champion responsibility for the cleanliness of patient environments which are maintained to a high standard in line with current DoH and SJA IPC recommendations and policy. Monthly evening training meetings

Minimum of two shifts per month (each shift being approx. four hours including set-up and debrief).
