District Events Lead

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

As a District Events Support Lead, you will organise first aid cover for public events as diverse as football matches, concerts, the London Marathon and the village fete. Events all involve challenges in terms of getting the right people and equipment to the right place at the right time. You will be part of a team, reporting to a District Events Lead and Events Delivery Manager while partnering with Unit Managers & Area Managers who manage SJA locally.

Position available to lead the District Events Team, responsible for the direct management of the District Event Support Officers. Ensuring compliance with the required event planning in line with established nationally approved guidelines. Representing the Regional Events Team at District Event Planning meetings which you will lead. You will also work closely with other District Function Leads, the District Manager, the Event Delivery Coordinator and the Event Delivery Manager.
