Unit Training Lead

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are looking for someone to be responsible for the training needs of our volunteers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for the work of St John Ambulance and an interest in coordinating internal training programmes for our volunteers and community training events for the public. As part of the role, you would be expected to attend Unit Management meeting quarterly and support the District Training Lead meeting with either your attendance or by supplying information. The role is not a training role however you will be supported should you wish to train unit sessions. The role is predominantly to ensure that the Unit Nights have a planned session and someone to provide the training. You will be expected to work with the Unit Manager and Volunteers to full fill the needs of the unit through training.

For more information please contact Craig Stott at craig.stott@sja.org.uk.

The closing date for this post is 31st May 2019 and interviews will be commencing on the 13th June 2019.
