First Aider- West London
As a First Aider at Events, you’ll help St John Ambulance provide first aid at large and small events within the community. You’ll be part of a team of volunteers delivering help where it’s needed.
The experience you gain could lead to more advanced roles in the future, including patient transport, cycle response, advanced first aid and emergency response. You’ll make a real difference to your community and have a huge impact on the nation’s health.
As a First Aider at Events, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time - just 2+ shifts and 1-4 unit meetings per month
We will make sure you will have access to a proper induction to volunteering with SJA and the training you need for the role you take on. We will also provide you with a supportive environment while you are volunteering with us. Information about our volunteer roles are included in the role descriptions. We are growing our amazing West London team in the following West London Boroughs and need people who can commit to volunteering in our community. Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Richmond and Westminster.

The closing date for this post is Sunday 2 June 2019 and interviews will take place on Saturday 15 June 2019 in Central London. Regrettably, no other interview times will be available.
Following the interview, if you are shortlisted, you MUST be available to attend the Induction Session on Saturday 29 June 2019 in the afternoon, and the 4-day training course on 13, 14, 27 and 28 July 2019 (9.00 am – 5.00 pm), all in Central London.
