First Aider - Cambridgeshire
As a First Aider at Events, you’ll help St John Ambulance provide first aid at large and small events within the community. You’ll be part of a team of volunteers delivering help where it’s needed, dealing with everything from a sprained ankle to a cardiac arrest.
As a First Aider at Events, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time.
We are looking for First Aid volunteers to join us across Cambridgeshire. First aid is such a simple skill, but it has an incredible impact. We want everyone to learn it, so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
We have an opportunity available in your area for a First Aider: help us to keep the community safe while they work, rest and play by volunteering as a first aider at events. We will make sure you will have access to an induction to volunteering with SJA and the training you need for the role you take on.
We will also provide you with a supportive environment while you are volunteering with us. Information about the First Aider role is included in the role description. What you can expect from SJA, and what we expect from those who volunteer with us, is included in the volunteer charter.
This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations Offenders Act
