St John Ambulance is highly experienced in paediatric and neonatal transport/transfer services. We promote a true partnership approach with those we work with, offering full flexibility to meet the needs of any required service.

We provide neonatal transfer services to:

  • • Acute Neonatal Transfer Service (ANTS) at Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge
  • • Southampton Oxford Neonatal Transfer Service (SONeT)
  • • Neonatal Transfer Service at Barts Health.

Quality equipment and vehicles

  • • Bespoke and fit for purpose, ensuring layout and design requirements are met.
  • • Safety of patients, parents, crew and staff is always at the forefront of design.

Providing the highest standard of care

Crews are specifically trained to provide a safe and reliable transfer service. All staff uphold the charity’s values of commitment and ensure patient dignity and comfort is of paramount importance.

St John Ambulance has been working in partnership with the Acute Neonatal Transfer Service (ANTS) team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital since July 2015, providing 3 dedicated fully staffed vehicles, safely transporting acutely sick newborn babies requiring specialist care throughout the East of England.
