The UK Championship for the Grand Prior Trophy

Grand Prior Trophy

Taking part in the UK championship helps first aiders maintain their essential first aid skills so they are confident and ready in case of an emergency.

The winners of the Grand Prior Trophy 2011 are Hayley Bearings from West Yorkshire. They competed against 23 other first aid teams to win the coveted Knight On Horseback.

This prestigious UK First Aid Championship brings together the best first aid teams from across the UK.

  • National industrial competition.

The winner and runner up teams from the elimination events are invited to compete at the UK Challenge for the Grand Prior trophy at The Royal Hotel Scarborough on Tuesday 27 November 2012.

Industry challenge

A minimum of six teams is required to run your own industry challenge which must be registered with St John Ambulance.

National industrial competition Thursday 11 October 2012
The Royal Hotel, Scarborough

If your organisation is unable to make up six teams and hold their own challenge, the qualifying route for teams to compete for the Grand Prior Trophy is the National Industrial Competition. This means you compete against other smaller organisations. In order to encourage greater participation companies are invited to enter a second team free of charge.
