The UK Championship for the Grand Prior Trophy 2010
Taking part in the UK championship helps
first aiders maintain their essential first aid skills so they are
confident and ready in case of an emergency.
All competitors must have participated in a national elimination
event approved by St John Ambulance. These events are:
- Industry challenge
- National industrial competition.
The winner and runner up teams from the elimination events will
be invited to compete at the UK Challenge for the Grand Prior
trophy on 17 November at Coton House, Rugby.
Teams consist of two competitors and an optional reserve and
must be first aiders in the workplace who hold a current first aid
at work certificate. Salaried trainers or assessors of first aid,
registered paramedics and training providers may
not enter.
Industry challenge
A minimum of six teams is required to run your own industry
challenge which must be registered with St John Ambulance.
National industrial competition
13 October 2010, Coton House, Rugby
If your organisation is unable to make up six teams and hold
their own challenge, teams may enter the National industrial
competition. This means you compete against other smaller
organisations.
Rail Inustry team are invited to compete at the National
Industrial competition. This is the qualifying route for
rail industry teams to compete for the Grand Prior Trophy.
