Internal Communications Assistant

St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity.
Every year, 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. We’re also always campaigning to raise awareness of first aid and directly educate the public. 

The Role

6 Months Fixed Term Contract 

A position has arisen within the Communications team at our National Headquarters.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced internal comms assistant looking for more responsibility; the IC team play a vital role in engaging with thousands of employees and volunteers across the nation. From managing the IC inbox and monitoring and measuring our comms channels, to writing copy for our intranet and creating e-bulletins, posters and copy for internal social media... this is a really varied role. You'll also get involved in comms planning and implementation for specific projects. We're looking ahead to the next chapter for St John Ambulance, so it's an exciting time to join the team!

To be considered you should have some experience in copywriting and editing as well as having provided support in a communications environment.
