First aid at football violence

Members on duty at a football match

St John Ambulance first aiders provided support at last weeks Rangers v's St Petersburg match in Manchester after violence erupted amongst fans.

A hundred volunteers were on duty at the Manchester City football stadium, 50 in the actual stadium and 50 providing support at two of the five screens showing the match outside.

Most treatments were for alcohol related injuries.
