Pop up first aid training centre opens in Stretford Mall

Pop up first aid training centre

Community training centre to teach life saving skills to shoppers in mall near Manchester

Following the success of our previous pop up training centre in Runcorn, we’re delighted to announce we’ve opened a new pop up community first aid training centre in Stretford Mall, near Manchester.

The pop up centre will be open for the next year, offering pre-booked training in life saving skills to community and youth groups, as well as staff and shoppers who can drop in for a training session or advice.

The pop up, kindly offered rent-free by Stretford Mall, will be open from 10am to 4pm with a late session one evening a week.

Great opportunity for the community to learn first aid

Stretford Mall shopping centre manager Gareth Wilkins said: ‘This is a fantastic project. The unit looks really fantastic. These are vital life skills that we all should have and I can only praise St John Ambulance for bringing this project to the heart of our local community.’

Our aim is to train 1,000 people at the centre in 12 months – pop in when you’re next out shopping and learn the skills to save a life.
