Help St John Ambulance win Brand of the Year – vote now!

Marketing Week AwardsSt John Ambulance, the only charity on the shortlist, has been nominated alongside huge household names including Disney, Instagram, Heineken and Starbucks for the prestigious Brand of the Year accolade at the Marketing Week Awards 2016

The Marketing Week Awards - due to take place on 12 May 2016 at the Roundhouse, London - brings together the best of the marketing industry, hosted by one of the leading publications in the sector.

The Brand of the Year award is considered one of the biggest awards of the night and calls upon the general public to select the brand they feel ‘had the best 2015’ from the shortlist of ten. St John Ambulance is the only charity on the shortlist, up against nine big budget competitors – so every vote counts!

Emma Sheppard, Head of Brand and Communications, said: ‘We’re delighted to have been nominated. To be seen in the same league as brand giants like Disney and Starbucks is incredible and a testament to everyone’s hard work.

‘It’s wonderful that the last year in particular has been recognised, as it was certainly a year to remember. The Chokeables reached 31 million people and saved 48 lives, our campaign to get first aid on the curriculum was featured in the media and was included in four main political party manifestos. Our PR coverage doubled year on year, and our new first aid advice videos were watched by millions – one had 18 million views alone.

'The refreshed look and feel has been making its mark and, of course, our people up and down the country live and breathe our brand, and help us demonstrate the importance of first aid and St John Ambulance’s vital role in society.
