Behind the scenes at Middlesbrough FC

24 October 2016

We're giving you the opportunity to see exactly what we do close up and have joined Middlesbrough FC to go behind the scenes at Riverside Stadium - you don't even have to be a football fan!

Come along and see first hand how we deliver first aid at a typical Premier League game. You can find out how we take care of hundreds or thousands of fans every week. You'll also get the chance to hear more about our lifesaving work across the country and find out how you can support us in the future.

The experience

We are hosting two events on Thursday 1 December 2016. The first will be at 2-4:30pm and the second will be 7-9:30pm.

What your visit will include:

- Food and refreshments
- A tour of the Riverside Stadium
- First aid and defibrillator demonstrations
- An overview of our work from control room to the pitch
- A look inside a working ambulance
- Meeting some of our volunteers
- Accounts of first aid incidents from match day
- An opportunity to hear about how we can save more lives with your help

Arrangements

We will meet in the reception at Riverside Stadium. You can bring two additional guests with you and children are welcome. If you or your guest have any accessibility requirements or food allergies, please let us know in advance.

Free car parking spaces are available at the group and the stadium is a 15 minute walk from Middlesbrough train station.

If you'd like more information or want to attend, please email David Pollendine at david.pollendine@sja.org.uk or call 07964 123238 by Monday 21 November.
