Majorie Riley from West Yorkshire

‘On 3 June 2002, four Fellowship volunteers from South and West Yorkshire were invited to take part the Golden Jubilee Parade in Windsor. This included the county representative, Majorie Riley, and three volunteers from Todmorden.

Her Majesty watched the procession from a dais at the Corn Exchange which is behind the railings underneath the Guildhall on High Street. As we were about to pass the dais we were given the order: ‘Eyes right.’ We went past Windsor Castle and the crowds were tremendous. A day to remember, one we still talk about when we meet.’
