National Schools' First Aid Competition 2012

School children applying first aid

The National Schools' First Aid Competition provides the perfect opportunity for your students to cement their first aid knowledge. By demonstrating their skills along with their peers in realistic scenarios, children develop the confidence to save a life and have fun at the same time.

The competition is free to enter and open to schools across the country. Teams of four students (plus one optional reserve) take part in regional heats with successful participants going on to battle it out at the national final, held at London's Natural History Museum on 27 June 2012. It's a day that students will never forget - and winners take home a £1,000 prize for their school.

'First aid is so important. You can't just wave a magic wand and make everything better.
